Diane, this along with your other image also of daffodils both just make one feel good. these along with snowdrops are usually a sign that spring is just around the corner. thanks for spreading a bit of cheer!

I certainly agree with you about the daffodils being some of the first signs of spring. Here in NC, we also have a shrub called winter daphne that blooms before anything else - usually in late February. The flowers are nothing special - tiny light pink blooms with a darker center, but the aroma is the sweetest smell on earth. I wish I could send that to everyone.....

 

I still am in awe of your flower shots - especially the lily series. Maybe one day I'll have some half as good!
