The last light of a glorious day brings a glow to this hillside carpeted with fiddleneck wildflowers. This is very similar to an earlier post, but I changed the angle to bring in more of the slope and the light in the sky has intensified. This is a spectacle to behold. The season has just begun, and with any additional rain, could be with us for another month or so. After that, dingy brown is the predominant color. Thanks for your thoughts! I think you will enjoy the Larger preview.

Three really wonderful posts today Mark. The colors are rich and melodic and run the full gamut of the color spectrum in muted tones. Very rewarding I can appreciate your opportunity to just be there in that place, at that time. Great work as always, kudos rek.

Gorgeous shot. Sharp, colorful, peaceful scene. Outstanding. Another crop option for this would be to cut it just to the left of the tree on the right, and less sky. This shot is so good, you can do a lot with this. Congrats!
