I have come to realize, through the years, that people in all their

misguided forms of "Personal Superiority", will never fail to question

my 'intent' or 'Question My Integrity". I've never been what one might call

a 'strong personality.....I usually would 'give in' - avoiding to

make 'ripples' in this "Big Pond" I refer to Life. I will never be 'mighty' or

a 'Goliath' of anything important, but I have the ability to be True to

Myself. I will always know My Heart, and the Goodness of my Intentions

in all that I do. If nothing else - I have my INTEGRITY. Whatever my

Station in Life.....or problems I may ever face, I shall guard this one

Quality no matter how Insignificant I may appear as I tred water in the

Big Pond. (I'm no Philosopher......just a 'thinker') comments welcome

with thanks........Gail

My thoughts above have no bearing on PN....just my life in general....."one little ant' journeying along. Also, I edited this shot on my laptop, and I feel that the vibrancey, clarity and levels could be more intense. The colors seem washed out to me...but I am not sure how to replace the photo..... sincerely, Gail

The treatment, you've chosen here Gail has created a "terracotta tile" that one might find in one of those beautifully photogenic old villa's in places such as Mexico. And the ant has been put into this tile in a way that makes it look as if it actually on the tile rather than being flattened in as part of the tile image itself. This is a pretty neat accomplishment on your part.

With reference to your text, I do notice that your little ant working it's way through life is actually sitting on top of the world!!

All my best, Bill

Actually Bill, this shot is a partner shot to one I have posted. The ant was on top of a Peony bud.....the posted one has the ant UNDER the bud...have to check for the file, but the other one was title Peony Partners.

I choose this one due to the position of the ant.....in attempts to reinforce to myself that I'm attaining 'a goal'.....your comments were pretty 'spot on' though...thanks so much for your interpretation.....and kind words of encouragement.....talk 'atcha' later' Gail

Many thanks Patsy for Your appreciation of this composition. The challenge is half of the enjoyment. I've been enjoying your portfolio so much._ Sometimes I feel the need to express how I feel In my work. Helps me sort things out I suppose - many thanks for your visit. Sincerely . Gail

Ahhh, an image to cherish, from the creative soul of a true artist. &nbsp As a person that I feel is a kindred soul you surely know that I often see things much as you do... from the Inside.

This is an image that I `feel' as well as see. :-))

You are too kind, as we both know I have a very long way to go.....sure I have a good imagination......kind of like putting together a recipe with ones like this...its the NITTY GRITTY where I need to improve....REAL PHOTOGRAPHY.... my Dad thinks this stuff is OK but until I really impress him with a great Landscape or Portrait....I won't be satisfied.

I read your words at the beginning and I found them very sincerely and from the heart, and this fact is what I like at this site, that is not a simple way and location to show photos,we can change sometime ideas, feelings and sometime we found that we are different but with lot of commons conections,we reconize in few words same thoughts that we have.Concerning this photo what can I say is only that is definitely your style and this one show lot of work and skill to do this kind of image,in larger view looks so good, wish you inspiration for new ideas, have a nice day.

Thanks very mch for sharing your toughts, amazing how we do relate to what others' feel. So often we are faced with circumstances that demand we make a 'call' we'd rather not face. Then finally comes a time when we make a decision on how we will reacte - always - take the power into our own hands even before another occurance. It can be very empowering and leave us feeling much better for it. Perhaps 'on top ' of our world for a change. Thanks very much for your kind comments also. sincerely, Gail

TIhank you so much for your encouragement....does my heart good....actually the ant was in the shot....it is on top of a peony but that became one of my layers.....for me to see how clear a shot I managed to get was such a surprise and delight....hand held at the time and I'm not the steadiest in the garden! thanks again for your kind words, Gail
