foto_hess 1 Posted October 24, 2002 I love the contrast here. What kind of filter were you using. Also, how do you like your mamiya? I am looking to jump to medium format and have been looking into the 645 Pro TL. I was wondering what your experience with this format and camera have been. Judging by this photo, I would say that it is working quite well. It reminds me of some of my pictures I have been working on for a series. I want to do a whole set on abandoned buildings along old highways. This picture is a great example of what I want to do. Keep up the great work. Link to comment

robertbrown 1 Posted October 28, 2002 Rudolpho--Are you crazy? Signs with the word "tower" are now off limits for photography? Thanks for the 1/1 rating--somehow it makes more sense than your comment. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted October 28, 2002 Comments, ratings appreciated on this b&w shot--especially on the composition which some feel is flawed. Thanks. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 28, 2002 I heard the rock group, Tower of Power had to change their name. Plus all the people with the surname Tower are in trouble Link to comment
alex_hawley 0 Posted October 28, 2002 Its a good composition from piece of small-town America that is sliding into extinction. Link to comment
wisdumb 0 Posted June 29, 2003 I'll avoid the 911 debate...great shot, guessing you used an orange or red filter???? the tree on the right is a bit overbearing, but for some might be representative ofa hand (?), maybe Godzilla with psoriasis reaching out to grab the sign...just kidding; I like the image, espedially the stars; maybe a little crop on the tree...? octavio bustard 0 Posted October 10, 2003 You've got a great eye. This is a scene 99.9% of photographers would pass by w/o a second look. You've turned it into a very powerful image. Your entire portfolio shows great talent. My hats off to you! Link to comment
