gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 24, 2010 Another of my macro bodyscape studies. Lightpainting has allowed me to get the light and shadows where I want. These are a bit unusual so those who have rated these 3 please let me know what you don't like. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 25, 2010 Interesting comment above. I was going to say it looks like a creature on the seabed! Perhaps a feature from the sea of tranquility! I am not one to hide behind my ratings Mark but perhaps I should have been diplomatic and not rated it. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 25, 2010 Jim - Thank you so much for your interpretation. David - Thank you for taking a look at this image. It wouldn't bother me if you rated it 3/3, comments are much more instructive. The fact that it attracted some attention is good in itself. -Mark Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 25, 2010 Perhaps my comment wasn't too constructive. My feeling is that you have made something look (almost) totally different to what it actually is. I realise that may have been your attention. (I am not sure that this comment is too constructive either.) Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 25, 2010 David - Yes, that is what I am after. I like the idea of using the combination of macro-photography with lightpainting to create abstract bodyscapes. I'll keep at it until I get it right. -Mark Link to comment
