Have you ever spent a winter in Australia MJ ?? Do you know if it gets very cold?? You've been so many places.......I wonder how many seasons you've experienced in different countries. ? (things that make you go hmmmmmmm)....disregard.....my mind does tend to waunder at times.

I hope you're enjoying it there. Do you get an Autumn ?? Back to photo...tnks for your kind critique, always appreciated. This is a Rose of Sharon.....beautiful bloom....the bees just love them and the bushes bloom quite profusely. Take care my 'Ausie' friend. Watch out for the 'rooo's'.........Gail

These roses have a soft delicacy that, against the background colour you have selected make a wonderfully complete and balanced image. Then you have managed to have them "emerging" from a soft backdrop in a way that is three dimensional. The roses "bloom" out of this image!

And then you have taken the image and framed it in a delicate and beautifully blended frame.

The roses offer themselves to the viewer, and from you to the viewer they are a wonderful gift. Thanks for bringing spring's promise into our minds.

All my best, Bill

Beautiful Roses, marvelously presented by a wonderful photographer. What a joy to find, on my currently sporadic p.net visits.

We are experiencing 5hr daily blackouts here, and it may get worse. This is predicted to last into July and is the result of a severe drought greatly reducing the water supply to the hydro-electric plants that this island depends too heavily on. Wish us luck!!! Please...

many thanks for your kind words of critique....I think we are all feeling that we are 'hanging onto the edge' of something'........I figure it is our 'insides' just aching for Spring. That wonderful aroma in the air......the 'premature' urges to plant something....can't come soon enough for me.....! see you again soon!, Gail

This is greetings card quality at its best, I can imagine some profound verse in the best of caligraphy to adorn the inside, a lovers note, an admirers message and a slight subtle perfume that would further arouse the senses of the intended reciepient. Ahhh such romance........Alls I get is post it notes with "Your dinners in the dog" etc etc : - )

Lovely work Gail

Kind Regards

Alf

You make me bluse..about the color of the background i n this comp. Dave. But I can use a little 'rosey' in my cheeks. I am very sorry to hear about your 'blackouts'....does it have anything to do with the fires also??? It must be very frustrating when you enjoy this hobby so much...many thanks again, Gail
