This is compositionally very interesting. I think the closed shutters definitely add a little more of an urbane context, making it more street than portraiture. The only issue I have is actually with the edges. I wonder if you have post processed just around the lad leaving the background to what it was. It feels as if there is a very slight sense of separation making him feel almost superimposed.
