yann1 0 Posted March 14, 2010 Thanks Marc. Thanks Bob. Actually, it's almost straight from the scan, only a bit of contrast, a bit of sharpen and that's all. My first roll of film with the Planar. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted March 14, 2010 I think the framing could be slightly different for better visual impact. Her right shoulder is blocking the foot path and is of a similar brightness = it merges with it. While the tones, contrast, detail, and clarity of the logs on the RH side are great, I don't see much point in showing so much of them in this case. The deep FG also seem unnecessary. I would shift the framing more to the left, and move the camera a couple of steps to the left, as well. That way we would see the whole path nicely disappearing into the distance, with the great DoF you have accomplished. Also, her whole body would be against the dark foliage in the BG, so it would be distinctly visible. And because there would be such a deep FG, we could enjoy the look on her face more. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
yann1 0 Posted March 14, 2010 Yes, Mickael, I should have stepped about one meter to the left to shoot. Thanks for your comments. Link to comment
