John, you are an excellent photographer. I would like to know why you chose to crop this image the way you did. I do not understand cropping off the top of the head in this particular case. This is not a critique, just an honest question so that I may learn of the thought process and improve my skills. Also, did you shoot it as is or was it cropped PP? With much respect...Brent

Yikes... another scalding image from the posemaster! Simple, cropped perfectly, and I probably shouldn't share the rest of my impressions on this family site that this image conjours up in my mind! Excellent John!

No problem Brent, and please do not hesitate to be critical another time if you don't like something. That's what I show my work for .. This is actually a much reduced image from a larger file reproduced above. Why did I crop it, first because I find it makes for an interesting composition that differs in impact from the original (possibly posted elsewhere already?), secondly to add to my "figure studies file" in which I study various forms and movement. I'm afraid I have no more metaphyscial explanation to give than that, I just found it interesting and am curious to know if any others agree. Why the eyes barely in the frame, because I feel it reminds us of the human attachment to the figure and thus adds to the sensuality. Many thanks for passing by. John

Thank You Thank you for responding John. Basically sounds like you made an image that looked more interesting to you at the time. Guess that is what all artists do really. I very much appreciate you taking the time to help. That is what makes this such a great forum for professionals and learners. Brent

i love money

why cut off her gorgeous face to emphasize her buttocks? you have really objectified her in this shot.
