Winter Hores Race in Mongolia

We visited last weekend the winter horse race in Zuunmod. It was asunny day but with the temperature as cold as -17°C. These are veryharsh conditions for the horses and the young boys who have to run adistance of 20 km. Several horses arrived without the rider.

thanks for your version. I see that there is a potential to make the horse and the rider a bit bolder. I am not sure about the spectators. I like them to be somehow volatile in this photo.

I think you are ready for the Ice Sculpture Show in Harbin, China. Alas, you will have to wait until 2011 as I think that this year's show is already over. Nice capture of a culture that may not be around in its current form much longer.
