I don't know how to describe her pose and expression , a sort of serious " here I am " . It certainly works well and makes an excellent portrait ! I like your choice of background , it tones well with her Jeans and shows your beautiful mode to perfection . Bill

I don't know about the jeans but her eye color and the background work perfectly together.  Normally, for me, the white blouse would be an attention hog but it somehow works here as I see the whites of her eyes.  The blue and white theme is strong and effective.  To change the color of her blouse to a blue would force her arms to compete with her face and weaken the attention to the face.  In this 3/4 length the white blouse is a good choice but might not work as well in a head and shoulders crop.  I wanted to see a head and shoulders with a blue blouse so I am uploading that idea for your consideration.  Nice job with your original idea.
