Thank you Jim for your very complimentary words............I do enjoy this type of creating and hope to combine some pieces with painting....time just does not permit it at the moment. For now, whenever I get the chance to just sit for a bit - I find it clears my mind...and I worry less...just for a bit...tnx again,Gail

Excellent work with this creative masterpiece Gail! Reminds of a horse ride on a dark, and stormy, night. Great stuff!

All the best,

Gail, others have already called this a masterpiece so it may be redundant to repeat that. But in terms of your creative mind and your ongoing mastery of technique, this is a beautiful image. I'm assuming this is an older image that you are reinterpreting and it sure is a worthwhile application of your talent.

I really like the mystery and feeling of an electrical storm that this conjures up in my mind. The Green/Blue/Black/Gold colour selection is a great choice And the solid dark almost double image against the brighter background is inspired. Having the horses body anchored in the lower left corner and then the head in the right third, to me, is a perfect placement.

Keep posting Gail, there are a lot of people who can now get inspiration from your work.

I guess I could have made my comments a bit shorter by just saying I really, really like this one.

All my best and my compliments, Bill

someone has to do the 'night watch' !! I post when I can.......and sometimes I drift off while doing comments or answering ones......and while editing. My brother visited from Canmore this week to visit Mom and Dad....had a Birthday dinner for Mom Sunday as she will be in hospital on hers. Soon posting may be fewer and far between depending on how things go with her.......

I have taken the odd day off EVERYTHING and just sat and worked on photos....hurt an old 'war wound' in my back doing houseowork and lifting boxes...so decided to take it a bit easier at least one day a week..... G

My Dad had bought me a Fuji S5000....my very first SLR....did not know how it worked, and it is obvious by this photo, as I have not altered it a bit.....so it is really bad. It is the same horse that is in one of my other folders. This shot I've tried to fix but have the hardest time getting a 'green' color cast out of the fur.....Of course it was terribly underexposed.
