thanks ...lady, and gentleman! what was supposed to be a "light" snowfall turned into 7" (which is quite a lot for this area), and the trip I planned to shoot in a nearby mountain canyon was thwarted by impassible roads. so, i ended up going to a friends house, doing a little 4-wheeling, and took a few pictures close to her home...including this one. glad you enjoyed it guys...John

but i had never posted it for critique. hope you enjoy it...and i hope to

The two summer chairs out front area nice touch. The weather beaten patina of the wood adds to the forlorn feel. The road going around the bend on the left is a nice touch. Good composition on this one.
