tmjacobs 0 Posted March 11, 2010 Although it didn't turn out to be the sunrise I was hoping for (warm light and deep red colors) I'm fairly happy with the result. The sun lit the mountains some 7 kilometers further only for some brief moments. Zooming in at 92 mm (that's 147mm in 35mm equivalent) brings the mountains closer. vadima 0 Posted March 13, 2010 Spectacular in large view, the pink tints are fabulous. 7/7 anon and best regards. Vadim Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted March 17, 2010 The pink glow is extraordinary, and you've composed this perfectly with the Stone Ring placed just right in front of the mountains. I had never heard of this place, so I went snooping in your portfolio. What an amazing collection of images you have from Scotland. I presume you're from there. I'm marking you as 'interesting' so I can get back to explore some more another day. Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted April 20, 2010 Evocative shot although it's a shame that the foreground is so park-like and devoid of interest. Did you try a version/crop such that the stones were almost tooth-like? More sky wouldn't be bad either. As always, everything is technically spot on. I like seeing that trail up to the saddle on the right. Have you been up there?-Dave Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted May 13, 2010 This is a new one for me also. I like the way the stones are framed by the mountains. Link to comment
