Madison Bend

I recently returned from Montana's southwest corner after a week of

cross country skiing. I returned to this bend in the Madison River

several times hoping for some dramatic lighting. Several B&W images

were made during the trip, as the big colors during sunrise and sunset

didn't materialize. I focused on textures, and the contrast of clouds and

clear skies.
