We really like this, Tony...it`s a delight of composition, colour and atmosphere.A

photograph that really holds the viewers interest.

It also reminds us of the northern terratories in our own country...

Best regards, Anne & Runar :-)

Fantastic capture Tony. The clouds look as though they are literally crashing into the mountain. Not to mention the beautiful foreground. What a place.

The golden richness and wonderful clouds draw one to this image Tony and then one see's the symmetry of the hill and mountain, the anchoring of the lake and the dynamic of the left to right sweep of the hills and the clouds.

A beautiful image, composed so well.

All my best, Bill

Wow!, where to start. The low lying clouds enveloping the top of the mountain, how the lines of the lower hill are identical to the large mountain, can't recall seeing this in any other image. But most of all,the soft warm tones of the sky & yellows of the foreground creating a very soft ,pleasing image. Best Regards-Ross

Its amazing how a great shot stands out, demanding a comment from other PN viewers. This is one of those exceptional images, I like everything about it.

Oh my Gosh! - what a pleasant surprise to see all these excellent, enthusiastic comments and very good ratings - It is sincerely appreciated . Last night I picked up a National Geographic hardcover book on an area that I have never visited in the US and hoping to do so before I close my eyes. It was published in 1980. Photographers, equipment and technology have come a long way in 20 years. Based on the images I see here at PN, honestly, those national Geographic images would be hard pressed in getting past an average rating - if so much. I do feel lucky that I discovered a site like photo.net with inspirational images and a larger circle of 'like-minded' friends. Warm regards to everyone.

Tony, this is superb. The gold in the trees is vivid, the color is reflected in the clouds, and that long sweeping slope up into the clouds is wonderful. This is a very beautiful landscape.
