paolo de faveri 1 Posted February 27, 2010 The building complex of the new custom in Dusseldorf is a masterpiece of the great canadian architect Frank Gehry, who also designed - just to cite two among many amazing buildings - the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao and the dancing houses of Prague. This picture represents for me an experiment of digital perspective correction. It was made bi stitching together 4 horizontals (4 in a vertically oriented row), by mean of the cylindrical method in Photoshop, and then distortion corrected, always in Photoshop. Not bad when a 4x5 is not at your hands, isnt't it? Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, tripod Link to comment
vadima 0 Posted February 27, 2010 Outstanding work, Paolo, the color is exceptional and the contrast with snow works so well, I am a great fan of Frank Gehry's work but had no chance to see this building yet. Your shot makes it tempting to stop by Dusseldorf one day. (7/7 anon) Link to comment
