paolo de faveri 1 Posted February 27, 2010 The building complex of the new custom in Dusseldorf is a masterpiece of the great canadian architect Frank Gehry, who also designed - just to mention two among many amazing buildings - the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao and the dancing houses of Prague. For this picture I took advantage of some beautiful, dramatic light at sunset, that helped a lot in highlighting the curved shapes of the buildings. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 50D, Tamron SP 28-75 f2,8, tripod. Stitch of 4 verticals Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted February 27, 2010 Well framed and good light. Pleasing architecture. I guess the construction workers may have sometimes wanted to send the architect to the stars ;-). Karl Link to comment
BobSandford 0 Posted March 4, 2010 The lighting accentuates the surreal, playful qualities of the buildings - comes across like a model instead of the real thing. Link to comment
