I really like this shot, well done. Since you've asked for a critique, I do have a few thoughts.

 

I read a little photograhic book recently and one observation, which made sense to me is - if the sky is not great, if it doesn't contribute much to the pic - leave as much of it out as possible. So I'm thinking here that I'd suggest a crop just above the top of the lighthouse. That would also bring the focal point up to a 1/3 mark in the frame.

 

Another point made by the author was - if you can't get the whole of a structure into your frame then just include enough to indicate what it is. I'm not implying that you couldn't get the whole thing in here but I do like the inclusion of just a small part of it. 'The part that typifies the whole' - as it were. You've done that here and I think it works very well.

 

I think the pic could use some dynamic range - the darks, darker and the lights, lighter.

 

I like the inclusion of a human figure. It gives scale and some left/right balance.
