Wow! How did you keep from waking him up? Awesome. I would also say great eye for catching it, and good depth of field. Any post processing?

Thanks Dottie! No post processing other than adding contrast, sharpening. The bird actually wasn't sleeping, I believe here it was grooming and had closed its eye by happenstance. Wish the moon was fully included, the angle was really tough and the branches, if more of the moon had been in the frame, would have obscured the bird even more.
