Guest Guest Posted February 25, 2010 Aleksandar, Jewel Is an incredibly beautiful girl. You have focused well on her eyes. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer) and a somewhat seductive expression. Her make-up is very well applied. Her lipstick matches her earrings nicely. I love the specular highlights on her lips. She has very good catch lights. The butterfly (Hollywood) lighting is excellent. Her skin tone is very nice. The background is nicely out of focus and somewhat neutral. Jewel is well separated from the background. Jewel has a very pretty stole, but it is very busy with an intricate pattern. It draws attention away from her face. The background is also quite busy. There are many shapes and colors in the background. In a portrait it is best to have nothing that can draw attention away from the subject. I would move Jewel to her left a little. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. It would be nice to have Jewel part her hair a little straighter. It draws my attention. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted March 28, 2010 She is a natural. Send her over to Hawaii for a week, tell her i suggested that and see if she giggles. I admire her wonderful skin and lips so perfect it makes one stand in awe. Oh, and yes, your photo work was good too..:_) gs Link to comment
