What immediately drew me to to this photograph was the contrast between the curves of the model and the lines of the background elements. I like the rim light and the unusual crop.

Nice photo. The smooth lines in the body compared to the straight lines in the chairs give a nice contrast. The rumpled t-shirt doesn't do the photo justice. Would have been nice to see more smooth lines of the body. Great job.

Mark, Thanks Mark. This is an image I took many years ago. I like it for the reasons you like it too. Thanks a lot.

Kathleen, The point about the shirt is noted. I wish I had shot this as a nude. Thanks a lot.

Eduard, Kind words. Thanks.

Owen, If you like it, maybe it is good. Thanks for the look and comment.

The soft curves profile disruption provoked by the T shirt could be an academic/pure-aesthetics/photographic-refinement consideration, and I agree with this point. But, on the other hand there are many others points of view, or interpretations, or feelings transmitted, if you do prefer.

I mean, for me this image in its simplicity creates an extraordinary atmosphere of intimacy, like a brief instant captured of an encounter between lovers, the silence, the hot air coming in through the slightly closed window, two persons hidden from the crowd outside, meanwhile inside only solitude and them, anonymous lovers, because of no faces.

This is the previous moment to the embracing, and the kisses, when she left aside her T shirt, and he left aside his camera. This is an image made of calm passion, two persons that know very well each other, and they enjoy a lot this delightful moments, trying to last longer the time, and, as a logical consequence, last longer the pleasure.

Curiously, I do prefer this image as it is, with few clothes T shirt included, a suggested (outstanding) eroticism, very luring, provoking. There are not too many images than can make me feel (and write) something like this. This IS photography.

It is said a picture is worth a thousand words. Honestly, I did not think this on was but I did like it for the reasons you mention. It is very humbling to know someone I have never met can write so much about an image I took years ago. OK, maybe not 1000 words but certainly more than a thousand characters. Saying 'thank you' does not seem enough.
