I really like this one, it shows an animal in action in its natural surrounding with an interesting lighting situation. This is both, a good landscape and good wildlife. I read in your bio that you recently bought a 600mm - good luck with that. But I do think that exploring images like this may bring you more artistic expression...if that is what you are after of course :-)

 

On photo.net I see many incredible close-up shots of flying birds - technically perfect, the animal filling the frame. While this images of course stand on their own I myself have always been drawn, as can be seen in my work, to embedding wildlife into the environment.

 

Using light, composition and tension between the lanscape and the animal I believe a good photography may tell a whole story and capture the imagination of the viewer.
