Hello Alpo, I like the the view. However it bothers me much as I cannot recognise the spot. I should be able to do so. Is this taken from the old bridge? Maybe tele effect is confusing me.

I have resisted to make my photos of beautiful landscapes into b&W, because seeing the color and light is so tempting. However, this is a perfect example of how much doing this produces great results. It is classic B&W like the great Ansel Adams. This is a very nice photo, and the play of light on the steam conveys all the feeling for the cold weather. Great photo!

Kari: This was shot from the old bridge and that spot is between the island and the eastern shoreline, at the turn of the river. If you would follow the stream upwards then there would be the new bridge.
