Alfredo, your little flower is just outstanding. Not so sure about your composition, or more specifically all the negative space to the right. If this were mine, think would concentrate more on just the flower. Would not hurt to eliminate the green stem all together, than try a sq format. Think this would give image better overall balance. All of this of course just a suggestion.

Thanks for taking the time to critique my image. My intent here is to look at a composition alternative that is "different"; it's not just about the flower it's more about the "total" image...flower and negative space....does this make any sense? Regards, AM

This composition is very nice I like macro and frame filling as well but this delicate natural wonder thrust into the black emptiness makes me feel giddy, as dark as things may seem nature always finds a way...

Alfredo, yes of course what you say makes sense. Its always nice to see someone using there imagination. This wee flower is just so unique, the red black combination just pops off the page. The green stem gives image the feeling of a puppet on a string. I prefer without. The wee red flower is just so sassy. This is a image one could spend hours playing with all the possibilities. Have fun!!

I like this just as presented...Maybe a little less black on the right, but this photo needs the offset the way you did it. Simple and beautiful!
