great scenery, excellent composition, in the easily recognizable style.

the contrasts are stronger than usually at your photos, and, at least on my monitor, even lit up to the maximum, there are still small black portions. but i personally have no problem with it, very appealing with this strong contrast.

to me is a 7/7 photo.

I used to love to work in high contrast like this. I think it worked pretty well here, but it was tempting to go with more dynamic range as well. Thanks.

It's a great photo Marc. The clouds frame the sea stacks very nicely. The movement of the water looks great as do the details in all the rocks.

Beautiful rendering of motion in the water as well as the sky. Composition is wonderful. The subject matter is captivating. Great vantage point, another treasure Marc.

This is fine photo. I like the way clouds and water create rounded E- shape around rocks. Composition is well thought, interesting and creative. For me there is also just right amount of contrast (pretty high) yet rich tonality. Yes, I am jealous... a s l a

I find the high contrast suits this striking composition and helps to accentuate the swirling movement in in sky and water. Truly beautiful in B & W.

Great picture, as usual, Marc. How did you get these great clouds pointing to the center of the picture???? WOW!!! The composition is awesome.

IMHO, the dark line of clouds close to the skyline is a little bit confusing, I couldn't see the skyline clearly.

What a fantastic movement you find there in the water.

The rounded clouds are a good echo of the rounded stream.

 

The choice of the black and white is really good I think, it adds to the strengh of the composition.

 

PS : I really like the waterfall in the background too.

Love the swirling, chaotic water and the strong contrast makes the scene that much more stunning. I like the array of clouds but they almost seem sharpened and I know that is something you never do.

Making the image may require specific monitor calibration, Marc, but your customers will not be expected to have that. Viewing should be OK for the average customer or you risk losing them. The oversharpening halo spoils this one for me as it adds a sense of falseness.  But I like the idea represented.
