sjmurray 33,568 Posted February 22, 2010 An old neg I re-scanned and re-cropped. Love that 120 film for tonality. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted February 20, 2012 Beautiful semi-abstract nude, the soft curves matched by gentle window-light and the B&W film. You should scan some more of these... Best wishes, Jonathan. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 15, 2015 This is absolutely beautiful, Steve. I second the preceding motion. --Lannie Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted November 19, 2015 May seem weird, but it reminds me of Edward Weston's peppers. I love the smoothness and form. To help improve, perhaps a bit of vignetting, and a bit of softening of what appears to be undergarment lines. I think this can be achieved in processing. Regards, Jeff Link to comment
sjmurray 33,568 Posted November 20, 2015 Thanks for stopping by, Jeff. If this were an Edward Weston, I don't think he would artificially "smooth" out the textures, heh heh. I do smooth out some of the skin textures when I do a portrait, even if the situation is "documentary," but in this nude I feel what texture is there is an interesting part of the moment.
