Very unique and interesting look here. Almost like human veins. The white of the main tree against the darker branches really works well. This is very textural and reads to me very creatively. There's an almost transparent quality, as if I can see through from one branch to the next. It's a tangle, but yet there's a simplicity to it that is very effective. Very nicely done!

Your technique is interesting. There's a gauzy quality to it, yet all those great details shine through down to the last twig. This time of year, the trees look upturned, as if their roots are reaching up to the sky, this picture being no exception.

Thanks to both of you!

This, personally, is the best image I've made in a long time. The interactions of tones and branches seems like chaos until you really look at it and then it all seems to come together. You really have to slow down and look to appreciate it and two people that I thought might just respond to this one did and I find that very satisfying.

Excellent Tim. Without a doubt one of the nicest tree studies I've seen. Complex and simple at the same time - and worth a good long look, (rare for most photographs).

Well done, David
