I absolutely love this one Tim - just captivating, (if a landscape can be described so!). It has fine depth and compositional flow, and an illusion of having been taken from a great distance. Those could be vast forests cloaking mountain ridges, with an endless sea beyond.

Beautiful in b&w as well, although a bit more contrast might be nice. Congrats on a very enjoyable image.

Best, David

Actually, I hadn't thought of it that way, but now that you mention it, I'm seeing this one quite differently. I think removing the distant trees would've really enhanced that feeling.

I did try different levels of contrast in PP, but this one felt the most balanced for me.

Looking at this I get a feeling of isolation and lonliness. I love the subtle tones of grays, and the softness of the white, it gives this a dream like atmosphere. Very nice.

I agree with David's comment about a first-impression of looking across miles of mountains in some quasi-misty conditions. Very subtle tones too. Cool shot, Tim! Cheers! Chris
