David-Wisse 5 Posted February 21, 2010 I absolutely love this one Tim - just captivating, (if a landscape can be described so!). It has fine depth and compositional flow, and an illusion of having been taken from a great distance. Those could be vast forests cloaking mountain ridges, with an endless sea beyond. Beautiful in b&w as well, although a bit more contrast might be nice. Congrats on a very enjoyable image. Best, David Link to comment
timzeipekis 5 Posted February 21, 2010 Actually, I hadn't thought of it that way, but now that you mention it, I'm seeing this one quite differently. I think removing the distant trees would've really enhanced that feeling. I did try different levels of contrast in PP, but this one felt the most balanced for me. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 22, 2010 Looking at this I get a feeling of isolation and lonliness. I love the subtle tones of grays, and the softness of the white, it gives this a dream like atmosphere. Very nice. Link to comment
eugenio_pastor_benjumeda 0 Posted February 22, 2010 Wonderful. The B&W shows a calm and lonely landscape that capture the attention in a way nearly hypnotic. Best regards. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted February 23, 2010 I agree with David's comment about a first-impression of looking across miles of mountains in some quasi-misty conditions. Very subtle tones too. Cool shot, Tim! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
