Excellent image, romantic and powerful.... I would almost tend to prefer this one in a square format, cropping slightly the left side....This would perhaps enhance the diagonal effect of the neck and the face ....

I think it was for good reason that it was selected.

 

The model is beautiful, and your treatment of her beauty is simply superb.

 

You have posed her excellently, making very good use not only of the space adding dynamism to the otherwise static by diagonal posing, but also have used good sharpening technique, a superb palette, wonderful skin treatment (I would suppose you used 'smoothing', and well) and otherwise made this an example of how to create (I use the word 'create advisedly) an excellent - even superb - portrait.

 

Congratulations on a job well done.  It deserves recognition. 

 

I'm not in love with the over/under frame lines at top/bottom but that's artist's choice and of not great consequence.
