Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 20, 2010 The shadow appears to have a life of its own and the bench with its derelict oblong of sleeping snow seems to have one leg anchored in reality and the other set in some more fanciful realm. In a way this is a further development of your photographic vision. It is superb in technique (of course) but equally a lively product of the imagination; an image that invites and welcomes subjective speculation. Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted February 20, 2010 fantastic the shadow and the snow that rst on the bench, n image that seem simple but is very clever as vision. Link to comment
lliebl 5 Posted February 20, 2010 Finding an undisturbed scene like this must have been quite a feat. Nice textures and tones. A beautiful shot. ~~~~~~L Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted February 22, 2010 Wow! A nice, CRISP, very pleasing image. Still, am I the only one to notice that the shadow on the bench looks like a loaded gun? Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted February 22, 2010 I just wonder if a B&W version would look better or worse.I somehow feel that the subtle colors add to the overall mood.Do they really? Link to comment

3m 0 Posted February 27, 2010 I can only add to the previous compliments of your photo, Gunnar... It really is a great photo with a great composition...! The overall textures are superb, but it's the shadow which really makes this picture so unique, imo. Great vision & very well done! Best regards, Marjolein Link to comment
kallol 0 Posted February 27, 2010 Wonderful image...lone bench on the snow and its oblong shadow make the composition very dynamic...and at the same time the colors and texture so full of solitude heightened it further...love it...my best Link to comment
