fabio_sbordone 24,859 Posted February 20, 2010 This scene caught me suddenly, for the likeness of position of the seated girl with that of the sculpture on the poster at right, a gargoyle that seemed whatching her. Only later I discovered that the title of the poster (Chimères), describing the fantastic stone creatures of Nôtre-Dame, seems at the same time to evoke the reveries of the girl in red. fabio_sbordone 24,859 Posted February 21, 2010 Thank you, Alon, for your comment. Seated on the steps tha go to the Seine rive gauche banks and lost in her thoughts, the red dressed parisienne was certainly unaware of the poster on the nearest bouquiniste stand (and also of the photographer !).
