The most difficult part of this kind of shots is the sky, which tends to appear a little flat, if a correct exposure for the rest is set. This view is very interesting, well composed and well balanced. My sixth sense tells me that in this case the sky was actually flat, I mean in the reality. And its flatness doesn't disturb too much in the overall visual impact of the image. Regards!

Mauro, thanks for the review. You're right about the sky; it was a pretty drab & overcast day when I was shooting, but I'll working on improving my skies in general. Thanks!

In reading the other review, I agree about the sky being flat. However in this instance with the trees in the sky and the way this is composed I think the flat sky is good for this kind of photo as far as I am concerned. Had this sky had billowing clouds contrasted with some shades of gray and black it would probably be a distraction against the tree branches. I don't know if you have shot this site more than once but your gut was probably right on this one, the flat sky is good in this instance because you have alot going on in front of it (namely tree branches and the light sconces).
