animal humor and amazement... "A Smiling Kingfisher In Houston..."

I've never seen a Kingfisher in this area. I was very surprised and

only had seconds to capture his image. He was hanging out on a

utility wire close to the ferry and I had to get this image before the

cars unloaded and I had to move. Please share your thoughts...

A very well made image, Deb. This is more true under the circumstances. In the short time you had to decide you got so much right, the composition, lighting, position of the bird and the horizontal correct. The use of B&W is good too. well captured.
