blue-olympus 0 Posted February 17, 2010 Great idea for a shot Linda, those Pioneers must have been some tough critters! Link to comment
acmorrill 0 Posted February 17, 2010 Great shot - I like the subtle color in the background sky -- as a suggestion maybe you could bring up the saturation on the foreground grass as a compliment to the sky. Link to comment
paulpluskwik 0 Posted February 17, 2010 Hi Linda, I enjoyed your winter landscape photo. I also enjoy taking photos of old structures and winter landscapes, so it was fun to see what you found to take a photo of. Take care Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 18, 2010 I wonder how far they had to go to 'borrow a cup of sugar'??? Simplicity.....amazingly barren....not a tree in sight.....great shot and location....but what did you 'do wrong' to get 'dumped' way out here in the wilderness???? Or if you're anything like me.....'Hey hon...just going to do a bacroad 'tour' see you in a few hours ! I ALWAYS MAKE A wrong turn..... : - [......and it's usually very dark by the time I return home. Nice work Linda ! Link to comment

Donna Stavis 0 Posted February 19, 2010 Beautiful and bleak. A soft, heavy sky and a spiky snowy ground. Likewise, the buildings that provide little shelter. No place to rest but mesmerizing as a stop on the way. Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted February 19, 2010 So lonely and desolate. Wonder what they used for fuel, don't see any trees. Image really portrays being alone and self dependent on ones self. Link to comment
