Like what you did here Liz, I have been expermenting with the blackground, you did it well here. Good to hear from you with your comment, love looking at others work but have been getting lazy lately , I am going to stay more in touch with old friends here in the future.

I love the dark rose and the drama you've created here. The side lighting is particularly effective. Still, I'd like to see a hint of an outline to the back of the rose to distinguish it from the background.....it's just a bit too dark for my taste. :-)

parts you don`t see...an original and eyecatching image !

Clever done! Here is something asked of the viewer, perhaps a little work to complete the idea, to imagine that rose as a whole...Target achieved - as some comments confirm. Compliments!
