Probably it is more suitable to call this photo "Morning wave and moon

set": it was a rare situation that when the sun was rising, the moon

still hang on the sky in the same direction of the morning sun.

Dear Glen, Vadim and Pascal,

 

Thanks for your comments. I stayed about 30min at the site and took a number of shots, this one probably presented what I really wanted to capture for the motion and color. The sun was not out yet, but we could see the light getting quite strong gradually.
