So very pretty! I love it when the trees look like this! Excellent photo!

Yeah it really is amazing, and captured superbly, the myriad of snow laden branches with the clear avenue beneath is composed really well, and retains the detail, depth and mood.

What an interesting tangle. Under most circumstances this would be much too busy. But it works very well here. Nice rendition. The contrast on the tree branches makes the shot.

Great tree, well captured. B&W is an alternative (does color add any impact here ?).

If this was taken where I think it was - then very amazing yes !

 

Glad to see you got a shot of snow down your way - I'm sure it was a much appreciated change of pace - and no doubt it didnt last long either - hope you enjoyed it Janis ...

Thanks everyone, we don't get snow like this. Around 6".

I had a blast! Husband's boots, three coats, camera and still in my pajamas.

 

Ken, it lasted 2 1/2 days. It gets nasty though. Kind of a love hate thing with the snow.

The impact I get from the color is some warmth against the cold, white, beautiful snow.

 

A nicely detailed shot, full of the twists and turns of the blanketed branches, the trunks still appearing stately. The textured ground is a nice foreground and the subtle lighting works so well to set this scene off. Nice job in a very visually fresh environment.
