rkynast 1 Posted February 11, 2010 I like the image, overall, but so much dark area on the left seems distracting. I tried cropping the dark area out but it changed the feeling of the image so much that it became a different photograph. Did you consider lightening up the dark parts just a bit? deb1 0 Posted February 11, 2010 I also tried to change the darkness, but it changed the mood and spirit of the image so I left it as is. Thanks for your thoughts. deb Link to comment

Not Here 93 Posted February 11, 2010 Deb... Nice nostalgic feel and an old song by Roy Clark came to mind...."Yesterday when I was youngThe taste of life was sweet as rain upon my tongue.I teased at life as if it were a foolish game,The way the evening breeze may tease a candle flame. The thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I plannedI'd always built to last on weak and shifting sand.I lived by night and shunned the naked light of the dayAnd only now I see how the years ran away.Good shot... deb1 0 Posted February 12, 2010 Thanks so much for your thoughts on this image. We must be near the same age as I remember Roy Clark... In fact I can hear the melody in my head and it takes me back to my younger days. Thanks for sharing your words and taking me on that little journey! deb Link to comment
