LindaM 2 Posted February 10, 2010 Excellent color, comp and framing as others have said. The image made me look. Your title makes me wonder about the story. Without your title, I would not have even thought that manure would be mixed with that mud. Is that intentional? I have heard of villages where huts are made of dried manure. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted February 11, 2010 Another great shot Birte..........blue seems to be a very popular color..and is a lovley accent for these impoverished people. They must work so hard trying to take care of their families......I can't imagine being a 'Mom' there....so many things to worry about with your children........This Mom seems intent on having a garden...I do hope it grows for her......nicely done Birte..sincerely, Gail Link to comment

jrickert 0 Posted April 7, 2011 Beautiful color and composition, Birte! You are on the front page, too! Excellent light and photo! Do you have any photos in National Geographic? ...because this is where this belongs...Excellent!!I have found that street photography is very difficult, especially when the light conditions keep changing, or when the subject keeps moving. I am sure this didn't happen here, though. Please look at my latest photos. I need your help. Link to comment
