My 1st try at shooting star trails....I'd love to hear suggestions, etc.

Well done, artificial satellite and all. Good light, although there seems to be a halo around the horizon/trees. From post-processing? What's the blue "star" near the celestial pole?

Timing and movement is excellent

Thadd... Impressive! I, too, have thought about trying this but we have so much light pollution around here I've not tried yet. What is the time lapse, about 30 minutes?... Mike
