alexz 0 Posted October 14, 2002 I love the thoughful appearance on the child's face. Mulling some kind of wisdom, no doubt. :) Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted October 15, 2002 This is my daughter Emma. Now that she and her twin brother are starting to crawl, we find it necessary to blockade all exits of our living room to keep them from wandering into baby-restricted areas. Here she is contemplating her escape plan I suppose. Link to comment
dattaji 0 Posted October 15, 2002 Beautifully framed, lovely expression caught, god contrast. Well done. Datta. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted October 16, 2002 I'm proud to be the one she calls "da da". This was one of those shots where I was just walking by and spotted her there. I grabbed my Olympus, got down on the floor and started shooting. This was the last shot of five that I took. The others didn't have the hand under her chin, which I thought was a key element in the composition. The direct stare helps too. Link to comment
root 0 Posted October 17, 2002 Very nice. framing, composition, hand position, mouth, the eye. . . . Link to comment
michelle_osborn1 0 Posted October 17, 2002 The pose is perfect. Not easy when dealing with kids. I'm sure you lucked out. Doubtful that you asked the little one to hold her hand there. Must have taken a little bit of patience and luck. The benefit of not just taking one shot is shown here. Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted October 18, 2002 Wonderful Rick. Well done. The child has an amazing expression! I'll never forget the shot with the guitar. It's one of those pictures that will remain impregnated in my mind forever! Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 21, 2002 Well can't see much wrong with this capture. You've caught so much in the features, especially the finger giving that extra bit of direction to look at her gorgeous face, as if she needed it;) Link to comment
yoti 0 Posted November 1, 2002 This is not your typical baby photo. Very well done. The eye is hypnotizing. Great job! Bet you can't reproduce the same moment again. Aren't you gald you captured that moment in time? Link to comment
timbu 0 Posted November 7, 2002 Great expression. Hat's off to you for getting a toddler to strike this pose or alternately a fast enough trigger finger to catch a fleeting moment. Link to comment
andrea_garza 0 Posted November 17, 2002 I wouldnt change a thing. This is tremendous work Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted December 11, 2002 Emma struck the pose and I grabbed the cam. Together, we just got our first "1st place" contest win with this photo. Link to comment
palmi 0 Posted January 4, 2003 I just love them; this one is great, although they are all fantastic. Keep them coming. Link to comment
benjamin_kailing 0 Posted February 17, 2003 Wow, I love this shot. I cant believe that you were shooting from the hip so to speak. I havnt had a chance to do much with kids yet but any shot like that has to be an amazing feat. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted February 17, 2003 She is a natural in front of the camera. I get some great expressions from her. Link to comment
