I want so badly to love this photo because it could be such a beautiful shot of a monarch butterfly, but I find that the orange and black of the monarch are in direct competition with the strong colour of the flowers. The flowers below the butterfly are slightly out-of-focus which draws my attention up, but again it’s to the flowers that my eyes go. Beautiful attempt! I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to get this shot.
