katzpjs 50 Posted February 5, 2010 Nice use of bokeh effect to complement the image. Living in Seattle I have ample opportunity to view raindrops on leaves and branches, but my camera stays hidden away as I scramble for someplace dry rather than continuing to stand out in the rain. I really love images such as this one, thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 5, 2010 Thank you both for commenting. I appreciate your encouraging remarks. Anil, the background was lighter, and not so blurred. I burned and softened it to bring out the crispness of the leaf. Shawn, I was on my front porch, nice and dry when I took this. I am not a big fan of spending long periods of time in the rain either. Seatle must be similar to Vancouver where it rains almost every day in the winter. It is depressing but I love the look and smell of green, rain soaked vegitation, the beautiful mosses and trees. Have a good weekend. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment

papasan 0 Posted February 9, 2010 Nice shot Linda. I like the crispness of the leave and drops against the out of focus background. As Birte said the red berries (?) really make a nice backdrop. Well done - michel Link to comment
