ldavidson 4 Posted February 3, 2010 I used a filter here. I wasn't sure if I should put in digital alterations or pets. Thanks for looking. Link to comment
brillb 0 Posted February 3, 2010 What a little cutie. Someone just sent me some other images made with this filter. Great use of the filter Linda. Is the sun shining there yet? Becky Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 3, 2010 I have been having so much fun with this filter. I found it on Deviant Art when I was looking at the brushes you told me about. I have used the brushes and this filter together with some interesting results. It is still very grey, foggy, gloomy and warm. I would rather have cold with sunshine any day. Take care, Linda Link to comment
pedroolivo 0 Posted February 3, 2010 The textures look awesome. The light and colors are spot on. Nicely done. Regards Pedro. Link to comment

setsail728 14 Posted February 3, 2010 Gorgeous and very detailed photo of this little guy. I love "face dogs". Very sharp focus right down the the nuclear sclerosis in his right eye!! (unless that's a light reflection). Link to comment
TPiorkowski 60 Posted February 4, 2010 This is an excellent portrait of this dog. The lighting and detail are great and tax sharp. What kind of filter was used to get this effect? Link to comment
thadley 14 Posted February 4, 2010 The lines between digital straight photography and altered images are becoming blurred. I was putting (Dig Alt) on the title of those images where I did something that altered the appearance beyond what i remembered as reality. I have being seeing more and more images that have been modified (I am sure) beyond what the photographer saw and most are not indicating that they were digital alterations. I know which plugin you used and this is a nice use of it. All the best, Link to comment
birteragland 1 Posted February 4, 2010 So cute Linda, love the effect you have used here.Really well done. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 5, 2010 Thank you all for commenting. I was a little surprized to get so much response to this one. I appreciate your thoughts and encourgement. This is my little Yorkie, Molly. I call her Lionheart because she has the heart of a lion and thinks she has the strength too. This is pure delusion on her part. She will attack any other dog that crosses her path no matter how big and strong. She is not much bigger than a peanut, and she is very old, but she believes she is powerful and still has attitude. Thomas, it is called Fractalius plug-in. I ordered and downloaded it from Redfield Plugins. You can try it out first with the demo version if you like. I didn't have any problems with downloading, payment etc. It was easy and quick. http://www.redfieldplugins.com/ I have been having a lot of fun with it. I am sure you will too. Tony, I agree. I like your idea of Dig Alt. I think that Photoshop is an artist's tool and I think that photography is art. I admire alterations that are skillfully done, and the end result is wonderful to look at. Thanks again everyone! Best wishes. Linda Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted February 5, 2010 This made my own hair stand up. Wow, what a great transformation on the pooch. Do you have a shot handy before he had his makeover? (or her). Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 5, 2010 A very electric photograph. 7/7 This one could almost make me switch from being a cat person to becoming a dog person. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted February 5, 2010 Your lucky you are so far away Linda........what a 'sweetie' ..........sure could use a 'cuddle' with a little friend like this....you speak of him so often...I think this is the best photo of him....pretty sure I've seen others...). Lovely work......that plug-in certainly does a marvelous job on a dog's coat....at least for your 'good friend'........I can imagine just what he is like......they are so cute when they are sure they can protect you from anything.........wonderful shot and art work....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 5, 2010 Thank you for the kind remarks. It's good to hear from you. Molly is a real cuddler. Her second favorite thing to do right behind eating. Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted February 5, 2010 Hi Linda - Cute shot! I like the little black button nose, and marvelous coat. I know all about the eating thing, LOL! That's first with my dogs too. Best, David Link to comment
