kombizz 15 Posted January 31, 2010 I took this interesting scene at the public event organized by the photographers' union against the restrict right of photographers in the UK. In this recent law (Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000) the police force have a wide powers to stop and search anyone for "articles of a kind which could be used in connection with terrorism" regardless of whether they have reason to suspect that the presence of such article, if found.More than 500 photographers with various cameras attended on Saturday 23rd January 2010 in the Trafalgar Square, London, England.I saw this scene which reminded me the old Japanese movie, "The clash of the Titans, Godzilla, and Monsters". pjmeade 12 Posted January 31, 2010 Hello, I've seen your posts in the BJP form and on flickr, i hadn't realised you were active on PN too. There were some very interesting people and cameras around on that day. Any idea what the man on the right is using? My photos of the day are here Link to comment
f1_young 0 Posted February 1, 2010 A fun shoot at a moment of a serious cause. I am a firm believer in security and a government's obligation (not right) to pursue security of its citizens. Using that a a basis of rampant stupidity is not a cause a governmnet should pursue, but in the interest of power, each will try. Nice shot. Link to comment

william_staniforth 0 Posted February 3, 2010 Great shot ! I read about the protest . Where I live ( Chesterfield ) carrying a camera makes you suspect . I think there are more CTV cameras than you can imagine and it's not long before you are accosted by the " Law ". Link to comment
