Finally we've got some snow in the plain, this is the first time this

year that it last in the ground for at least a few hours. Taken

yesterday morning a few minutes after sunrise, in the fields around home.

Your c&c are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your

time.

Details: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, tripod.

Beautiful shot with the warm sunrise contrasting with the cold surroundings. Excellent composition... Mike

Thank you Mike, I'm glad you like it. I love morning like this one, foggy and with snow in the ground, these elements often help a lot in taking simple and effective composition. It's a shame that this year winter is so warm here in northern Italy, this is the first time that the snow stayed in the ground till noon... GRRRRRRRRR!!

Cheers,

Paolo

Reminds me of your last years Castagnole b/w post. Compliments, excellent again. But winter too warm in Piedmont? Can I send you my heating bill?...

Everything about this is lovely. The light, color, comp. To me this looks quite surreal with the double line of trees that don't seem to frame a road or lead anywhere.

I like the vertical lines here so well seen and of course the light that you caught so well, shadows come to complete this composition, all my best.
