Dear BirteI like your documentary shots, because you show people of countries in real status or I can say that you show under skin of the cities

When ever I look to your shots, I think how you take it, how these people let you to take photo of them at them status like above?when ever I try to do like these shots, they don't allow me !
I would appreciated if you explained how you do itBest regards

Another striking and thought provoking image in this series, I watched a TV documentary programme on the "sweat shops" of India a few ago, it showed how some of this people lived, and I was suprised at how much pride they took in themselves, I was truly humbled, these people have nothing yet they will share whatever they have with a stranger. Keep up the great work Birte.

Regards

Amazing image showing a part of humanity that you report so well. I feel conected to you as part of your sensitivity with people! Warm regards.

for me this lacks a personal involvement of a portrait, mainly because there is no eye contact with you (doesn't have to have eye contact, but this particular photo needs it.). same goes for the composition; in this case the chopped off toes are a letdown. The angle is also wrong here, resulting in horizontals with an unappealing slant. The photo gives me the feeling you took this in a hurry, and from a too far distance.
