timberwulf 0 Posted January 28, 2010 I'd really like to see a larger version of this image. The colors and subject are very striking. I'm asking myself how much the sky above is adding to the image. On the one hand, I think leaving in that much sky emphasizes the stark openness of the terrain and really shows how inconsequential the person in the lower left is in the scheme of the world (I almost sense a Buddhist theme to this image). On the other hand, I wonder if you couldn't have achieved the same effect by cropping out most of the sky above the clouds over the distance mountains and giving this image a very wide-screened effect. I might have considered de-saturating the red just a touch on the person - it could be the image's size but it seems just a hair too much. Amazing image here, wonderful as it is, and yet wonderful potential for playing around with different crops and styles. Great capture! Link to comment
jenniferleigh 0 Posted January 28, 2010 I like this shot very much. It took me a moment to realize there was a man standing there. Nicely done. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted February 5, 2010 Arup, excellent shot. I like the side light on the mountain and the person. I also feel the red cast on the person may be desaturated a bit. Link to comment
