Looking over the Snow bank

While walking in the woods of Northern Minnesota on snowshoes I

came accross this Whitetail deer looking over a snow bank.It seemed to

be as curious to see me as I was to see it. It did not mind getting its

picture taken.

This is a lovely shot, I wonder if a different crop could make it even more dynamic? I feel like it is missing something, but I cannot put my finger on it.

Such a gorgeous animal and this is a fine capture. Personally, I think a tighter vertical crop with a more out of focus background would add more impact to this image.
